In June 2022 was inaugurated LifeSpace, a new version of the Living Lab at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, by the Rector of the University and the National Secretary for Science and Innovation.
LifeSpace currently enables more than 40 researchers to work on the development of robotics solutions, artificial intelligence, platform development and data integration to provide services and solutions in personalised health, accompanying health professionals, patients and citizens in the creation of innovation for the health and wellbeing of society.
This new Living Lab concept is more than a lab, LifeSpace is a place for open innovation in which the Spanish Hub will take place focusing on food and nutrition. During the inauguration ceremony, Maria Teresa Arredondo, the LifeSTech Director, presented to the authorities the framework and strategy of the Spanish Hub, which is scheduled to be launched in the second half of 2022 as now the Hub’s services and agenda of activities are being defined.
