In an exciting event that took place on the 31st of March at the City of Sciences in Tunis, the Tunisian R&I community was brought together not only to review the lessons learnt of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, but also to discuss Tunisia’s role in ambitious future European scientific cooperation programs. And MED Food TTHubs and our local partners from ESIM could not miss such an opportunity!
In particular, the “10 years of Tunisian-European cooperation in higher education and scientific research” event was organised by the European Union in Tunisia and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The event was marked by the participation of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Olfa Ben Ouda, the EU Ambassador to Tunisia, HE Marcus Cornaro, as well as Mr. Malek Kochlef, Director General of International Cooperation, and Ms. Signe Ratso, Deputy Director General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission.
During the event, a special reference to the PRIMA programme was made by Prof. Samia CHARFI, the Director General of Scientific Research. Afterwards, Dr. Fatma Trabelsi, the principal investigator of ESIM, presented the Med Food TThubs project.
After the presentation session, all participants visited the various European programs and projects’ stands.
